| Hand forged snails
Each wrought iron snail is traditionally hand forged using many blacksmithing techniques including the firewelding of the tail. This means raising the temperature to 1450oC to fuse the two pieces of metal together. No two snails are quite the same and each has its own character! When complete they are finished with beeswax from our own bees.
